Since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse. In 1999 I landed my dream job to train as a Veterinary Nurse in a large mixed practice in Hampshire. Before moving to Cornwall in 2004 I worked in Brighton for 2 years which is where I developed my strong interest in staff development and management.

This then lead to me purchasing my first surgery in 2004 and then Redruth Veterinary Surgery in 2012. I had a beautiful daughter Melissa in 2008 and a son Myles in 2010 and later added to the family our loveable labrador Shelby!

After graduating from Lisbon Veterinary University in 2012, I moved back to the UK in 2013 and fell in love with Cornwall.

I first joined the Redruth team in June 2017 as a locum and kept coming back until I finally became a permanent member of staff early 2018! I enjoy every aspect of small animal practice but have a special interest in internal medicine and hope to enrol on a post graduate certificate in the future. I also enjoy wildlife conservation and am a marine mammal medic in my spare time. I have a little Jack Russell called Olive who loves coming to work and getting lots of cuddles.

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2013 and started working for Reduth Veterinary Surgery in January 2016. I have previously worked at Penmellyn referral hospital and also spent time locuming.

I have a great interest in emergency care and also really enjoy Orthopaedic cases. Living by the beach means I spend a lot of my spare time there with my very mischievous Sprocker, Beau.

I have always wanted to work with animals since a young age, I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2013 and have worked in a mixed practice prior to coming here in April 2017, where I helped to look after animals large and small.

I have a keen interest in surgical nursing and running clinics for pets who need to lose a few extra pounds. I have a Border Collie named Dylan and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Bailey. In my spare time I enjoy taking them on long beach walks.

Receptionist

I joined the surgery in May 2017 as I wanted a career change. I have always grown up with horses and dogs so I love that I now get to work with pets daily.
