This then lead to me purchasing my first surgery in 2004 and then Redruth Veterinary Surgery in 2012. I had a beautiful daughter Melissa in 2008 and a son Myles in 2010 and later added to the family our loveable Labrador Shelby!

Head NurseI became Head Nurse here in September 2020 and I enjoy all aspects of nursing, I have a keen interest in surgical nursing and running clinics for pets who need to lose a few extra pounds. I am also a clinical supervisor, so I help to train future Veterinary Nurses to help achieve their dream career.
In my spare time I enjoy going out for adventures in my campervan, kayaking and long coastal walks with my Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bailey, an affectionate but cheeky chap at times. I also have a cat named Tammy who we fell in love with when she came to the practice as a rescue.
I have three “children” who are all adults, I am married to Julian. Our life resolves around our black F1 labradoodle Jem and any spare time we have as a family is spent walking her in our beautiful country.
